Born in Florence (FI), Italy in 1965 October the 15th.
1992 – Graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence (thesis on “Indoor Air Quality”- 110/110).
1994 – Wins the competition for PhD in Environmental Physics at the University of Genoa, Faculty of Engineering.
1998 – Researcher Environmental Physics (Scientific Sector 09/C2 – ING-IND/11) at the University of Florence.
Currently belongs to the department of Architecture (DIDA) of the University of Florence.
Assistant Professor of “Building physics and building energy systems” and “Environmental Control Techniques” at the School of Architecture of the University of Florence. Lecturer of “Environmental Control Techniques” at the University “Nostra Signora del Buon Consiglio” of Tirana, Albania.
The research activity mainly focuses on the following topics: Indoor Air Quality, thermal comfort and sustainability in buildings, Passivhaus and nZEB target in Mediterranean areas, hygienic conditions in HVAC system.
On these topics she has held lectures in Masters, Specializing schools and PhD courses, and has participated in National Research Projects and in Researches for Public or Private Institutions.
Member of A.T.I. (Italian Thermotechnical Association), A.I.C.A.R.R. (Italian Association of Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration), IBPSA-Italy, the Italian regional affiliate of IBPSA
(International Building Performance Simulation Association), ABITA (Interuniversity Research Center on Bioecological Architecture and Technological Innovation for the Environment) and CIRIAF (Interuniversity Research Center on Pollution and the Environment “Mauro Felli” ).
Author of more than 80 scientific publications (journals and national / international conferences), book chapters and peer reviewed publications.
