Postdoctoral researcher
She earned a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering in 2017 with a thesis on hydraulic risk reduction through innovative buildings at the University of Rome Sapienza. In 2021 she obtained the title of Ph.D. in Architectural and Urban Planning Engineering at the same University, with a thesis carried out in collaboration with the TU Delft University, where she was a visiting researcher. The thesis’s theme is focused on adapting urban areas to climate change considering the deep uncertainties in the planning process. She was a research fellow at the DICEA Sapienza from August 2021 to July 2022. Currently, she is a research fellow at the DIAEE. The research activity is focused on mitigating the effects of climate change on urban areas through co-benefit strategies for flooding and heat islands and the retrofit of buildings for energy requalification. She is the author of several contributions in scientific journals and invited speaker and lecturer in courses, and scientific events focused on resilience to climate change.
