Angelo Zarrella

Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of UNIPD. 

Angelo Zarrella, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Padua University, Scientific Disciplinary Sector 09/C2 ING-IND/10, where coordinates the Building Energy Technology Assessment Laboratory-BETA_Lab Research Group. At UNIPD, he teaches Energy Science in Energy Engineering, Aircraft Air Conditioning in Aerospace Engineering and Laboratory of Energy Audit in Energy Engineering. He is member of AiCARR, IBPSA and ASHRAE. He is also Subject Editor of Applied Thermal Engineering (ISSN 1359-4311) and member of the Editorial Board of Energies (ISSN 1996-1073) and Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments (ISSN: 2213-1388). 

His main research interests are related to the energy efficiency in the built environment. The research activity focuses on Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems, radiant systems, new building envelope systems, equipment of the building-plant system-HVAC, energy flexibility, district heating and cooling networks, renewable energy technologies and urban building energy modelling.
