Member ASHRAE (1994), AiCARR (1996) and AIA (2005).
Research activities: building physics, fluid-dynamics and thermal and energetic behavior of buildings and HVAC systems. Responsible of the following IUAV University Research Unit Projects: MURST – COFIN: “Riqualificazione del parco edilizio esistente in ottica NZEB: costruzione di un network nazionale per la ricerca”, “RES2 – Responsive by renewables”, “Measurements and modelisations of thermal and energy performances of adaptative glazing systems”, “Development of dynamic model for the simulation of the building and thermal systems in Mediterranean countries”.
Scientific coordinator of some Research projects with ENEA, CNR IVALSA and International Energy Agency Annex 49, Annex 56 and Annex 75.
